One of the unconditional rocksteady vocal groups, the Heptones were likewise one of the few to successfully make the transition to the reggae series. The group was fronted by Leroy Sibbles, who was not simply an exquisite singer but also a of brilliant parts songwriter, arranger, and session bassist at the fictitious Studio One. Penning much of its allow material, the group boasted one of the deepest catalogs of its time, filled of high-quality numbers that were widely imitated as being their close-harmony vocals, and widely recycled...
